I'm hooked
I haven't done much painting on location. Went out Saturday with a local group of artists. Attached is what I painted in about 1 1/2 hours. It is 9x12 oil from El Matador Beach in Malibu, California. Don't know when I have had so much fun! Thanks for looking. Dee This is the only image that I see you have uploated. |

Dee: I really like the contrast between the warmth of your bluff with the cool colours of the sea. I used to love the colour contrasts of the purple kelp beds and the deep blues of the ocean along PCH. I regret never painting it when I saw it everyday!

Karen D
Thanks for your nice comments. I am so happy I started painting this way and have access to a group to go out with. If you email me at deefox1@earthlink.net, I would be happy to forward the digital photos I took that day (hope you have a high speed connection) Dee |
