22x30 acrylic on linen covered board.

It took 17 days on location, Kula, Maui, 2000', 8 to 10 hour days.
Four of the days it rained, that's when I caught the sky colors and highly saturated all over colors. On sunny days I would work with the same colors, never adding new colors. Toward the end, I would start at 7:00, while the scene was in the shadow of the mountain. That would give me 2 hours with colors close to the cloudy day. That's how I finished up.

Now I'm making a canvas giclee of the piece with pigmented inks that will last 100 year, much more then that probably. Since I have my own printer/plotter I can sell it here at wholesale, $250 mounted or ready to stretch, 22x30.
