ahh!
I am about to paint three little paintings one for each referee that wrote me a reference for my application to come there. (Hawaii)
I will be working in water colour.
I have a few paintings to upload (acrylic) and show you but I better get the application into the mail soon.
I will send you a copy so that you know what I mean too,
Jo
Funny sometimes the message box will show a draft and sometimes not. But none of it  Cheesy matters.

Thanks, I changed it. You can make changes to you're posts also anytime you want.
Now, with me answering your post, you should get a messege by email giving you this page to respond back to.
It's also in you're History, every place you go to is in you're History.

A water diamond can be made with one stroke of a sable bright. Twirl it, so its pointed at the top, round on the bottom.

Hi Don,
I have been having trouble just getting used to discussion boards.  I don't seem to be able to get back here with out going back to the first email.
However perseverence is the key I am sure.
It is amazing what a difference one letter can make
the link you meant to give me was this one I think.
http://www.realcolorwheel.com/waves.htm
Thank you.
This was the very first link I found to you when I was searching when I was originally painting the mural.
I am about to get started properly and to introduce myself and see what the other students are doing too.
Talk more soon, I will post my first painting as soon as I can.
Jo

Let me see a drawing using the force lines from a single point perspective. Show all four steps of a wave. The face, the fall, the explosion and the after ripples.
In each line going to the vanishing point, show it traveling to the wave, up the wave and continuing onward to the VP.
...

A wave has to be pre-planed to be painted.
Here are examples of what I would like to see.

Hi Don,
Thank you for getting me started.
Yes I have lots of work to do on the waves.
There is an Island here called Stradbroke.
http://www.stradbrokeholidays.com.au/index.php

This is where I would like to paint but I will not be able to be online and over there at the same time.
So I guess I will go over paint and then come back and post.
Bit complex but never mind.
I have been looking at the Water Diamonds and I find all of this fascinating.

Talk soon and thanks again,
Jo

“When the student is ready the teacher will appear.”

I am a mural painter.

Usually I don’t do seascapes much, but that is what I
am being asked to do and I love it.

I was looking up how to paint waves.(When I found your
site.)

You are fantastic and best of all come from a similar
climate.

I am keen to improve in every way that I can.

I teach drawing and my painting skills have tremendous
room for improvement.

I love your work.

I can give you lots of links from all sorts of places
we’ll talk more when I work out exactly what you mean.
