Going up, looking down at the creator floor and nene field. We found some nene, pronounced 'nay nay'.

Here is the afternoon sun and fog, it rolls in and back out all day.

That is Emily Booth's drawing.

Emily Booth did this one.

We started walking about 9:30 Saturday morning.  I was last and got to the cabin at 6:30, 15 minutes before dark. I remember some of the steps were thigh high. I had to break 10 minutes per hour. 58 is no spring chicken :) The next morning we headed to the top, about 2000' in an hour and fifteen minutes.  The rest of the day we took it easy, that's when we did the drawing. I look back at it as fun, but today I'm a little sore. Next time I think I will take a set of watercolors.
