Hosmer's Grove

It's cold up here at 6,000 feet, but the air is so clean it keeps me coming back for more.
The first day was spent just on the drawing, three days later I was all smiles.

My favorite brush for this painting was a smashed down #8 series 8 Winsor Newton water color sable. After I used up the point painting water colors I hammered the ferrel down flat and use it as an acrylic filbert.
