Windburg has been out of business for a few years, I loved using his medium. 2013

WINDBURG OIL MEDIUM, 5 YEAR TEST, ACRYLIC GESSO ON RAG PAPER

14

Similar in yellowing to a classic Maroger medium, they both paint great.

Today, 7-15-13, I looked at the paint tests of 1995 for an 18 year test, the best non-yellowing mediums are:
wax, damar, poppy oil, Venice Turpentine, cold pressed with damar and cold pressed linseed oil.
Stand oil didn't make the grade.
I wish we had alkyd media to compare back then, I love the way it paints.
