Last night, 11-29-03 was the Doman's Thanksgiving party in Kaupo and I met their son Puua's new little girl. Here is a watercolor of their baby Brooklyn Doman, she and her dad live on the Big Island.

This is what a sugar cane fire looks like from 6,000 feet above it. The slight wrinkles in the paper are from the humidity out here in Kaupo. It's been raining for the past month. We plant sugar, it's poisonous, it effects our bodies badly. We would be much better off if we grew hemp but big pharm and big petro won't allow it.
